I used Elite Movers to move a 300 lb washer-dryer from my garage to my upstairs laundry room (very narrow staircase made it difficult to take up the stairs). In addition, they needed to move my existing washer and dryer units downstairs over the same narrow staircase. Rudy at Elite Movers used a hoist to move all three heavy pieces over my rear balcony and was very efficient in managing the whole operation. Their general experience in moving very heavy items over difficult obstructions was amazing and I would strongly recommend them for moving household goods. I tried multiple companies and they were the only one that sounded like they knew what they were doing and I am very glad I chose their services. They were also reasonably priced and solve my problem on time.

They packed my pod securely and efficiently with all of my items from my storage unit, U-Haul, and furniture from my house in SB. They got it all into the 16-foot pod with space to spare and delicately packed and took care of my fragile items (i.e. mirrors).

  Rudy and his Elite Movers team are the most professional, helpful and reliable movers we've ever worked with. We were recently impacted by a large fire in San Barbara county, and within a day of contacting Rudy, his team helped us evacuate a majority of our home's possessions and stored them safely until we could return. The transparency and constant communication with Rudy made the process especially easy and seamless. I highly recommend Elite Movers and plan to use them for all future moving and storage needs.

  I discovered Elite Movers in 2021 when I had to move a TON of fine art, delicate collectibles, and large pieces of furniture that I couldn't imagine even fitting out of the front door. I was so nervous that my things were going to be broken, missing, or tossed around because I had very poor experiences with other moving companies in the area. Yesterday was moving day again into a new home, with more delicate objects, more art pieces, and more furniture, but I knew exactly who I was going to call for my move!!

The team arrived at 8 AM to begin packing and loading, and the same attention to detail was immediately apparent. The quality of this move was just as incredible as the one in 2021. The way the guys packed my art was perfect, and I was really impressed again. I had already packed away many of my fragile items, which all made it to my new home in perfect condition.

The guys were carrying the craziest stuff into the house, such as a 400-pound safe, 85-inch televisions, etc. They were working TIRELESSLY for almost 10 hours, and my partner and I were baffled at how hard they worked.

I was very happy that I had found Elite Movers in 2021, and I always recommend them to any of my family and friends for any moves. The main guy Rudy is phenomenal, and he was on-site directing the whole crew and putting in the work the entire time. Thank you, Rudy, you're the man!!!!

  The extremely high Star rating on Yelp is a True testament to Elite Movers high level of precision and honesty in moving services! We cannot thank them enough for saving us thousands of dollars and our new flat!

We unfortunately booked with another moving company on yelp that had a good rating and was cheap!
A week out of our move in date.
Our housing agency (HOA) required the moving company to provide their certificate of insurance (COI) and their CA Movers permit number. Without submitting the basic credentials from the moving company, the HOA would not permit us to move into our new place!
Even worse, we would forfeit our $7000 deposit!!
To our surprise and disappointment the moving company would not respond back to us once we requested this information!!
We called the bureau of household goods and services, and they had no record of the so called moving company on Yelp!

We were frantic last minute to find a company that was actually licensed and insured to do business in California. There were multiple so called companies on yelp without a license or Insurance!! WTH

We fortunately contacted Elite movers and talked to Rudy, he provided us with his MTR number and insurance right away!
He was able to fit us into his schedule last minute.
Rudy was understanding to our situation, and let me tell you we were freaked out! Not only was he fair with the price but Rudy and his workers Ryan and Chris were professional and extremely hard workers. We were impressed all the way around and will never use another moving company!
