If the long-haul truck cannot make the approach, we shuttle your goods from the house to a staging point in a smaller vehicle and load the big truck there. It is a routine part of coastal moves and it is written into the flat-rate quote, not added later.
The drive is roughly six to seven hours depending on route and traffic, whether we run up PCH to the 101 at Oxnard or over Malibu Canyon to the 101 at Calabasas. We complete the load in Malibu and arrive the same day for smaller moves, or arrange a morning delivery the following day for larger estates.
