One of the jobs on our project map is right here in Summerland: a hilltop estate with a grand staircase and an open-air entryway. The oversized pieces could not just be carried up, so the crew coordinated a lift and hoist to bring them in on the second floor.
When the stairs will not take it
If a piece will not fit the stairs or the door, we plan the move around it. In Ventura, we used exterior hoisting equipment to deliver oversized furniture to a second-floor unit with no elevator, rigging each piece and lifting it in over the balcony.
