We assess access before move day and either bring a smaller truck or shuttle from a staging point nearby. You are told the plan and the cost effect in the written quote, not surprised on the day.
Yes. We issue a certificate of insurance naming the community or management company and book gate access before the truck arrives. Malibu Colony, guard-gated Point Dume streets, and managed beachfront rows all have their own rules, and we handle that coordination as part of the booking.
Moves within Malibu and to nearby communities are local, hourly moves. That covers runs up PCH toward Ventura County, over Malibu Canyon or Kanan Dume to Calabasas, Westlake Village, and the Conejo Valley, and into the west side of LA. Longer California routes are quoted flat-rate; call us and we will clarify right away.
We move seven days a week, including weekends. Weekend PCH traffic is real, so we start coastal jobs early to beat the beach crowds. Saturday and Sunday slots fill quickly, especially at the end of the month, so call (805) 697-6220 as soon as your date is confirmed.
One to two weeks of notice is ideal, and a little more if your property needs a shuttle plan or HOA gate coordination. End-of-month dates and weekends go first. We accommodate shorter-notice moves when the schedule allows, so it is always worth a call even if your date is close.
